Payment Obligations & Late Payment Terms

Late Payment & Reminder Fees

If a payment is missed, a reminder will be sent with the following statutory fees added:

  • Orders under 60 SEK: A reminder fee of 29.00 SEK applies.

  • Orders of 60 SEK or more: A reminder fee of 60.00 SEK applies.

Interest & Collection

  • Late Payment Interest: An annual interest rate of 24.00% plus the current reference rate is charged on any overdue balance.

  • Collection Handling: Unpaid claims may be forwarded to a collection agency, which will result in additional collection costs.

Unclaimed Shipments

To ensure efficient delivery of our cycling gear, please collect your package promptly. Packages must be picked up from your local agent before the final pickup date.

If a shipment is not collected within this timeframe, it will be automatically returned to us as an "unclaimed shipment," and a fee will be charged to cover return shipping and handling.

Fees for Unclaimed Parcels

  • Sweden: 258 SEK

  • International: 9.95 EUR / 30 EUR (depending on region and parcel size)

These fees are automatically deducted from your refund once the unclaimed shipment is processed at our warehouse.

Product Complaints & Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our cycling gear. If a product is defective or does not match the description provided, you have a formal right to file a complaint.

Your 3-Year Right of Complaint

In accordance with consumer protection laws, you have a 3-year right of complaint from the date of purchase.

  • Original Defects Only: This covers manufacturing errors and material defects present from the start.

  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, crashes, or improper care.

  • Reasonable Timeframe: You must report the defect as soon as it is discovered. A report made within two (2) months of discovery is always considered to be within a reasonable time. 

Warranty Exclusions – What is Not Covered

To qualify for a warranty claim, the defect must be original (a manufacturing fault). Void Cycling is not responsible for faults caused by external factors or improper handling. The following cases are excluded from the right of complaint:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual functional or aesthetic decline due to regular use is not considered a defect. This includes the natural wear of chamois pads, zippers, Velcro, tires, and lenses for cycling glasses.

  • Accidents & Crashes: Damage resulting from falls, crashes, or accidents after the product has been delivered is not covered.

  • Improper Care: Damage caused by failure to follow washing and care instructions. This includes the use of fabric softeners, washing at excessive temperatures, or tumble drying, which can damage technical fabrics and membranes.

  • Mechanical Damage (Tools & Assembly): Damage caused by tools during the assembly of accessories, such as bike computer mounts, fenders, or when adjusting buckles on cycling shoes. To maintain your warranty, our assembly guide and the recommended tools must be used.

  • Abnormal Use & Neglect: If the product is used in contexts it was not intended for, or if it has been stored improperly (e.g., stored damp or in direct sunlight for extended periods).

  • External Abrasion: Pilling or friction damage caused by backpacks, contact with Velcro from other garments, or snags caused by pedals and chainrings.

How to File a Complaint

To ensure a fast resolution, please email customerservice@voidcycling.com with the following:

  1. Order Details: Your order number and payment reference (receipt or order confirmation).

  2. Documentation: High-resolution photos and a clear description of the defect.

  3. Proof of Purchase: An invoice or receipt is mandatory for a complaint to be recognized.

Assessment Process

Once we receive your email, our team will evaluate the claim. You can expect a response regarding the assessment within 14 days. If approved, we will rectify the issue through repair, replacement, or a refund.

Refund for Approved Complaints

At Void Cycling, we ensure that you are not penalized for manufacturing defects. If your complaint is approved and we provide a replacement or repair, we will handle the associated costs promptly.

Shipping & Refund Timeline

  • Shipping Refund: If we rectify a defect or perform a re-delivery, any shipping costs you incurred will be refunded within 14 days of us receiving the claimed product.

  • No Delay: We strive to process both the return of goods and the associated refund without undue delay.

Payment Processing 

  • Automatic Credit: The funds will be returned directly to the same payment method you used for the original purchase.

  • Hassle-Free: You do not need to provide bank details; the system handles the reversal automatically once approved.

Shipping & Transportation Damage

At Void Cycling, we take full responsibility for your cycling gear until it reaches your door. If your order is damaged or lost during transit, we ensure a swift resolution.

Inspecting Your Delivery

To protect your purchase, please inspect the package immediately upon arrival:

  • Visible Damage: If the packaging is visibly damaged, do not sign for the delivery.

  • Carrier Note: Ensure the carrier or agent notes the damage on both their copy and your copy of the shipping bill before you sign.

  • Intact Packaging: Only accept a delivery if the outer packaging is completely intact to ensure the gear inside is protected.

Reporting a Claim

If you discover an issue after delivery, contact customerservice@voidcycling.com as follows:

  • Visible Damage: Report immediately to our customer service team.

  • Hidden Damage: For defects discovered after opening (not visible on the box), we recommend reporting the issue within 7 days of receipt.

Our Responsibility

Void Cycling covers all goods damaged or lost during delivery to you. By following these inspection steps, you help us hold the carriers accountable and speed up your replacement or refund.

Product Information & Pricing Policy

At Void Cycling, we strive for absolute precision in our technical descriptions and pricing. However, to ensure fairness and transparency, we maintain the following policies regarding our website content and order processing.

Accuracy & Corrections

We reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies regarding product specifications, pricing, stock availability, and typographical errors after an order has been placed. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incorrect pricing displays.

  • Discrepancies in stock status.

  • Unauthorized mass orders or technical glitches.

Your Right to Cancel: In accordance with the Consumer Sales Act, if a significant error is discovered in the information provided for your purchase, you have the full right to cancel your order at no additional cost.

Order Cancellations for Pricing Errors

Void Cycling reserves the right to cancel an order if the price listed on the website was clearly incorrect. This policy applies even if you have already received an order confirmation. In such cases, we will notify you immediately and issue a full refund.

Visual Illustrations & Minor Deviations

  • Product Imagery: All images on our site are for illustration purposes only. While we aim for high-performance precision, we cannot guarantee that an image perfectly reflects the product’s exact appearance, texture, or color nuances in every lighting condition.

  • Minor Information Deviations: Small discrepancies in product data (for example, minor weight deviations) are not considered grounds for a "defective product" claim, provided the product functions flawlessly and meets its intended technical standards.

Your Right to Cancel

Your satisfaction is paramount. If an error is discovered in the information provided for your purchase, you have the right to cancel your order in accordance with current consumer sales laws.

Address Changes for Shipped Orders

At Void Cycling, we process and dispatch your gear rapidly to ensure the fastest possible delivery. Please note that it is generally not possible to modify the delivery address once an order has been handled by our warehouse and collected by the carrier.

Policy & Limitations

  • Restricted Modifications: Once an order has been dispatched, address changes are not guaranteed and depend entirely on the carrier's technical capabilities and current status of the shipment.

  • Fees: In the event that a redirection is possible, a minimum handling fee of 20 EUR will be charged. Please note that this cost may vary depending on the carrier, destination, and the specific redirection services required.

  • Buyer Responsibility: Accuracy at checkout is essential. Void Cycling is not responsible for successful delivery if an incorrect or incomplete address was provided at the time of purchase.

Disputes & Consumer Rights

At Void Cycling, we strive to provide the best experience for every rider. If a disagreement arises that we cannot resolve together through our customer service, you have the right to seek external mediation.

Official Dispute Resolution

As a consumer, you can contact either of the following independent bodies to settle a dispute:

  • ARN (Swedish General Complaints Board): Visit arn.se or send a written claim to Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden.

  • EU ODR (European Commission Online Dispute Resolution): For customers within the EU, disputes can be submitted via the official online platform.

Your Right to Choose

It is sufficient to contact only one of these parties to initiate a review of your case. Void Cycling follows the recommendations issued by these boards to ensure fair treatment for all cyclists.

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control that could not reasonably be foreseen, Void Cycling is exempt from fulfilling our contractual obligations.

Applicable Events

This applies to events that affect our commitments or significantly increase costs, including:

  • War or natural disasters.

  • Labor disputes and strikes.

  • Government decisions or legislation.

  • Failures or delays by suppliers and subcontractors.
